Golf cart safety on Fisher Island is so important, especially because of the amount of golf carts circling the Island at any given time. Sure members play golf and some prefer to ride rather than walk the course, but many residents use golf carts just to simply get around the Island – visit friends, dine at the restaurants, and more.
Don’t let the playfulness of golf carts fool you, they can be as dangerous as cars and must be respected. Recently a golf cart flipped on its side when the driver (apparently) lost control and hit a tree. Thankfully there were not any serious injuries that we know were reported.
Those residents looking to show their style, customize the golf carts to fit their personality. This is a great example of some of the whimsical golf carts on Fisher Island.
